One of the most fun elements of Fashion Month is not just seeing what will land on the runway, but who will make an unexpected cameo. This season alone, a few unexpected stars have taken to the catwalk, from Cardi B at Vogue World: Milano to Rosie Huntington-Whiteley at Gucci.
The shows have turned into an epic game of stunt reveals: You wait with bated breath from the front row, never knowing which A-lister will walk out from the backstage area to the surprise and delight of all.
Today in Paris, the spring 2027 Chloé show from designer Chemena Kamali delivered yet another major sighting: Apple Martin, making her catwalk debut. Martin—who, in case you’ve been living under a rock for the better part of two decades, is the 22-year-old daughter of Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin—emerged wearing Chloé’s bohemian white maxi dress, complete with laser-cutting and ruffled detailing.
She also wore a pair of the label’s sky-high wooden platforms, navigating the skyscraper heels on the runway with total ease.
Martin is no stranger to the world of modeling, of course: She has starred in campaigns for Chloé before, as well as other brands such as Self-Portrait and Gap Studio (she even starred in the latter campaign alongside her mom) But in Paris today, she clearly took her love of modeling to new heights—walking for one of the buzziest shows in the City of Light, no less.
The question now is: Will Martin become a runway fixture during the Fashion Months to come? Or was her Chloé moment a one-and-done type of deal? Given that her presence in the high-fashion world continues to grow, something tells us we will be seeing her next season, too.
