Claire de Rouen Books, the cult-favourite bookshop on London’s Kingsland Road, was packed to the brim this Wednesday (October 7) for the much-anticipated launch of Dazed’s latest issue. ICYMI, cocktails from Ghost Labs were flowing as Dazed Clubbers and their friends congregated inside. And, of course, there were stacks of the Dazed Autumn 2026 New Idols issue to go around... but not for long, since copies were quickly snapped up.
In fact, this is a recurring theme. From cover stars including BTS singer V , to Ethel Cain , North West and the protagonists of the forthcoming GTA VI , the New Idols issue lives up to its name and has – as you might expect – been flying off shelves worldwide.
Inside, you’ll also find sculptural hair art courtesy of Taiba Akhuetie , a first-of-its-kind interview with UK Ug rapper TR Gobrazy , a feature on the young designers shaping the future of fashion, and more.
After grabbing an issue – or reading it over their friend’s shoulder – visitors stuck around and continued to chat after closing time. There was also a chance to connect with the Dazed teams who helped to make the issue a reality.
