Fashion Month only ended yesterday, but Emma D’Arcy has already snatched one of the season’s hottest looks straight off the runway.
The actor stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to promote their latest film, Digger (and gamely participate in a cooking segment with Wishbone Kitchen). Clocking in for their promo duties, D’Arcy and stylist Rose Forde opted for one of the most memorable looks from Simone Bellotti’s spring 2027 collection for Jil Sander.
Over an untucked ecru button-up and straight-legged navy trousers, D’Arcy wore a gravity-defying blazer, looking as though they got caught in a gust of wind. “There’s a dash of perversity to applying such rigorous technique to something so off,” Vogue’s Nicole Phelps wrote in her collection review.
D’Arcy is no stranger to the sauced-up suiting game. At the 2026 Emmys last month, they eschewed household names for an if you know, you know pick: a slouchy three-piece suit from Soshiotsuki.
While the look—an outsized blazer with a rounded shoulder, flowing trousers, and undone salmon shirting peeking out of a button-riddled vest—marked designer Soshi Otsuki’s American red carpet debut, the brand is well-known in fashion circles: Otsuki took home the 2025 LVMH Prize.
If their Soshiotsuki somehow wasn’t enough to cement Emma D’Arcy as a true fashion player, then this sculptural Jil Sander suit certainly did the trick.
