One interesting part of being a Who What Wear editor is seeing what our readers are into. We often analyze shopping data, and I've previously covered what the most-bought items of 2025 were, as well as which designer bags our readers were buying this summer.
With fall here, I was curious to see what's being bought for the new season. To do this, I looked at items that had 30 sales or more between August 1 and September 25.
As I was going through the data, two things were immediately clear. First, our readers are focused on buying under-$200 wardrobe staples right now.
Second, there's one brand that was shopped the most. Adidas came in first place, with the Samba OG Sneakers being the top-purchased item (126 times).
Other pairs from the brand include the Tokyo Low-Top Sneakers, Taekwondo Mei Ballet Flats, Samba Jane Sneakers, and Japan Low-Top Sneakers, totaling 384 pairs of Adidas sneakers purchased in the past two months alone.
Coming in second place for the most-purchased item was Quince 's Organic Cotton Boyshorts with 112 sales, and third place went to Nordstrom 's Maddox Ballet Flats with 103. The retailer had several other best sellers too: COS's Satin Wide-Leg Pull-On Pants, Cotton On's '90s V-Neck Three-Quarter Sleeve, and BP's Crewneck Cotton-Blend Cardigan.
Another brand that was all over the data was J.Crew , including basics like the viral $98 Luna Pants and various Rollneck silhouettes.
Below, take a look at the items our readers bought (so far) this fall, starting at $25.
