Ella Bright Ditches Her Signature Hair Color for Something Witchy at the 2026 VMAs

Ella Bright is going Off Campus —and with a new look, to boot! When we first met the actor as Hannah “Wellsy” Wells earlier this year in the hit Prime series, her hair was a shade of light brown with a tiny bit of red. But as of tonight, she’s gone to the dark side: a dark chocolate brown, that is.

Bright chose the 2026 MTV VMAs carpet to debut her new hair color, which is absolutely perfect for fall. It’s striking, much like the silk corset dress and six-string pearl choker she chose for the occasion. And Bright isn’t the only celeb who has recently felt the urge to dye her hair darker— Hailey Bieber and Dakota Johnson are also team dark-chocolate hair.

While we patiently wait for season two of Off Campus to arrive, the VMAs are giving us a little tease: Bright and her on-screen romantic interest, Belmont Cameli, will reunite to present an award.
