New Balance has designed a new street-savvy hiking sneaker called the TL900. And it's pretty good.
It speaks directly to the state of outdoor sneakers. They're no longer reserved for the crunchy trails and rocky mountains. They're now worthy of grocery runs and regular ol' flexing.
New Balance's TL900 is definitely worth showing off. It's basically a hiking sneaker dressed in nice streetwear clothes. It features padded textile uppers, almost like puffer jackets for your feet. It also comes with reinforced touches and chunky rubber soles, which make it quite durable.
For its debut, New Balance has dressed the model in a stylish "Sport Green" colorway that combines olive green with black accents. In other words, it passes the vibe check easily.
New Balance has mastered turning its most classic runners into stylish casual sneakers ( thick Mary Janes and dress-shoe hybrids , too). It's no surprise to see the brand nailing an admittedly cool hiking-coded sneaker.
It's already starting to appear at some stores, too. As of now, it's available on HHV's website for 159,95 €, or around $182. Hopefully, a wider release is coming soon.
