The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) kicked off the Spring/Summer 2027 season with the official NYFW Kick Off Cocktail at Le Rock on Wednesday, September 9, 2026. CFDA Chairman Thom Browne and CFDA CEO and President Steven Kolb were joined by cocktail co-hosts Stacey Bendet, Joseph Altuzarra and Sabyasachi Mukherjee.
Prior to the cocktail, a ceremony took place celebrating the third edition of NYFW Live at Rockefeller Center, the streaming partnership that opens the American collections at New York Fashion Week (NYFW) to consumer audiences.
The ceremony featured CFDA Chairman Thom Browne, Genesys Senior Vice President, Global Brand, Danielle Kieschnick, CFDA CEO and President Steven Kolb, Senior Managing Director, Tishman Speyer and Head of Rockefeller Center EB Kelly, Sebastián Yatra, Honey Dijon, Becky GJoseph Altuzarra, Stacey Bendet, Sabyasachi Mukherjee, LaQuan Smith, Todd Snyder, Willy Chavarria, Zaldy Goco, Emily Dawn Long and Tommy Hilfiger.
